Who is responsible for your data

DespegaPYME (hereinafter “DespegaPYME”), with address at Edificio MIND, Av. Faro 2350, oficina 1E, postal code 44550, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, is responsible for processing the personal data you provide through this site.

What data we collect, and where from

We only collect the data you write into the site’s forms:

“Let’s talk” form (on the home page, on Contact and on Diagnostic): name, company, role within the company (optional), email address and the description you write about your company’s situation.
Workshop registration: name, company, role (optional), email address, phone number and how many people will attend.
Mailing list: your email address only.

Alongside the submission we also record context data that does not identify you on its own: the page you submitted from, the page that brought you to the site, the campaign parameters in the URL (UTMs), the date and time of submission and your browser identifier.

We do not collect sensitive personal data, nor financial or asset data, and we do not request them by any means.

What we use your data for

We use your data for the following primary purposes, which are necessary to attend to your request:

To reply to what you wrote and determine whether we can help.
To arrange a first conversation with you.
To manage your workshop registration, including sending payment instructions, venue and logistics.
To keep the administrative and accounting records required when there is a contract.

If you also ticked the corresponding box, we use your email for a secondary purpose: sending you notices about new content and upcoming workshops.

That secondary purpose is optional and always requires you to tick the box. The “Let’s talk” form does not subscribe you to anything: if you filled it in, we use your data only for that conversation.

DespegaPYME works with independent specialist firms. We only share your data with the relevant specialist when it is necessary to attend to your request, and only the data needed for that.

We also use technology service providers (email, hosting and form automation) that process the data on our behalf and under our instructions.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not carry out transfers that would require your consent under article 37 of the Law.

How to exercise your ARCO rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified when inaccurate, to have it cancelled when you consider it unnecessary, and to object to its processing for specific purposes.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at hola@despegapyme.com stating:

Your name and a means of replying to you.
Documents proving your identity.
A clear description of the data the right concerns.
Anything that helps us locate your data.

We will respond within a maximum of twenty business days.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the same address.

If you subscribed to the mailing list, every message includes a one-click unsubscribe link; you do not need to write to us to opt out.

Cookies and tracking technologies

This site does not use advertising or profiling cookies.

We use your browser’s session storage (sessionStorage) to keep the URL’s campaign parameters while you browse, so that we know where you arrived from when you submit a form. That information is cleared when you close the tab.

The site’s typefaces are served from Bunny Fonts, which sets no cookies and does not transfer your IP address for advertising purposes.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as a relationship with us exists and, afterwards, for the period required by applicable regulations. Mailing list data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Changes to this notice

Any change to this notice will be published on this page, updating the date in the header. If the change is substantial, we will inform you through the contact means you provided.

Authority

If you believe your right to personal data protection has been infringed, you may turn to the competent personal data protection authority in Mexico.
